	Culture class - October 28, 2007 Veena Cavle recently made the first attempt in running a small cultural class for our young kids. There were a nice mix of boys and girls. This was a great experience for the kids too. Special thanks to Swati for the help in putting together the activities for the children. 	KS Ganesha Habba - September 29, 2007 Kannada Sangha recently held their annual Ganesha Habba function at The Gore Temple in Brampton. And as always, the turnout of KST members was great, and the food was scrumptious and enjoyed by all. The function included a Ganesha sculpting contest for teens and a colouring contest for children. 	Independence day Celebration - August 19, 2007 To commemorate 60th anniversary of the Independence Day of India, PANORAMA India with the support of the CONSULATE GENERAL OF INDIA, TORONTO organised a Parade and India Day at Yonge-Dundas Square on 19th August 2007. Kanada Sangha participated in the parade and show-cased Karnataka and India to the people of Toronto. The celebration was a grand success. View Photos of this event
	KST Golf Event - July 28 & August 11, 2007 The Annual Golf Event was held recently where several golf enthusiasts took part and had great fun. The Tournament was held in two stages - 9 holes community golf held at Derry dale Golf course on July/28/2007 & 18 holes singles tournament held at Oakville execetive Golf course on Aug/11/2007 View Photos of this event
	KS Picnic - July 15, 2007 Kannda Sangha held their annual picnic at Morningside Park in Scarbrough. A variety of games and activites were held for all ages. Also, a new executive committee for the year 2007-2008 was elected. View Photos of this event
	KS Ugadi Habbba - March 31, 2007 Kannada Sangha Toronto recently held their annual Ugadi Celebrations in Port CreditSecondary School and it was a great success. This event featured the KS food court which was enjoyed and appreciated by all. Seminars on heart & health and child soldiers were well-received before the spectacular evening program. 	KS Cultural Program - February 3, 2007 Kannada Sangha recently held their annual Cultural Program at Yorkwoods Public Library auditorium. The events and snacks was greatly appreciated and enjoyed by all. View Photos of this event
	KS Nada Habba - November 4, 2006 Kannada Sangha recently celebrated the Suvarna Karnataka year festivities at its annual Nada Habba! Seminars, costume and doll display, vibrant cultural program, delicious food and dandiya, the function had it all! View Photos of this event
	KS Food Bank Volunteering - October 9, 2006 Kannda Sangha attended the annual Thanksgiving Food Bank hunger drive by volunteering to sort food at the Daily Bread Food Bank in Toronto. Many youth from the community actively participated in the event.
	KS Ganesha Habba - September 9, 2006 Kannada Sangha recently held their annual Ganesha Habba function at the Hindu Temple in Richmond Hill. And as always, the turnout of KST members was great, and the food was scrumptious and enjoyed by all. The function included a fancy dress competition for toddlers.
	KS Picnic - July 16, 2006 Kannada Sangha held their annual picnic which included the elections for AKKA Toronto Convention Co-Chairs. A new Kannada Sangha Executive committee for 2006-2007 was also elected.
	KS Ugadi Celebrations- April 1, 2006 Kannada Sangha Toronto recently held their annual Ugadi Celebrations in Don Bosco Secondary School and it was a great success. This event featured the debut of a food court which was enjoyed and appreciated by all.
	KS Cultural Program and Talent Show - February 26, 2006 Kannada Sangha Toronto held their annual cultural program and talent show on Feb.26, 2005. The events and snacks was greatly appreciated and enjoyed by all.
	Nada Habba Function - November 26, 2005 Kannada Sangha Toronto held their annual Nada Habba Function on Nov.26, 2005. The evening was greatly appreciated and enjoyed by all.
	KS Food Bank Contributions - October 10,2005 Kannda Sangha attended the annual Food Bank hunger drive by volunteering to sort food at the Daily Bread Food Bank in Toronto.
	KS Welland Canal Trip - October 9,2005 Kannada Sangha Toronto held a very interesting trip to the Welland Canal on October 9,2005.The Welland Canal is one of the world's greatest man made wonders. The trip was enjoyed and appreciated by one and all
	Ganesha Habba - September 24,2005 Kannada Sangha Toronto recently held their annual Ganesha Habba Function. As always, the turnout was very good and the food was even better. A skit depicting two stories of Lord Ganesha was presented which was enjoyed by one and all. This was followed by a brief report about Gauri and Ganesha festivities in Bangalore, India.
	KS Picnic - July 24, 2005 Kannda Sangha held their annual picnic which included a well-enjoyed cricket tournament and various other games and activities for all ages. Also, a new executive committee for the year 2005-06 was elected.
	Seniors' Day - July 10, 2005 Kannada Sangha Toronto held a Seniors' Day which focused on issues concerning seniors. A yoga demonstration followed by kannada songs was the hallmark of the event.
	Youth Seminar (SOAR) - May 9, 2005 Kannada Sangha Toronto and PPSI held an informative, fun-filled youth seminar on May 9, 2005 at the Ontario Science Centre and it was a great success.
	Ugadi Function - April 16, 2005 Kannda Sangha held their annual Ugadi Function on April 16, 2005. The evening had youth and adult seminars followed by dinner and cultural entertainment which were enjoyed by one and all.
	Cultural Program - February 12, 2005 Kannda Sangha held their annual Cultural Program which was a big hit and enjoyed by all.
	Nada Habba - November 6, 2004 Kannda Sangha held their annual Nadda Habba function which was very well attended and appreciated.
	KS at Food Bank - October 11, 2004 Many of the the Toronto Kannada Sangha members actively participated in the in the food bank
	Ganesha Habba - September 25,2004 Toronto Kannada Sangha's Ganesha Habba celebrations took place at Ram Mandir, Mississauga.
	Visit by Dignitaries- September 7, 2004 Dignitaries from Karnataka visited Toronto recently. A dinner get to-gether was held in Mississauga with the Kannada Sangha members on September 7, 2004.
	Kannada Sangha Annual Picnic: This was held at Erindale Park, Mississaugua, was well attended. The cricket tournament and the corn cob stalls were a great success. The picnic came to a close after the KS executive committee was elected.
	Kannada Movie - Poorvapara - June 27, 2004 A Kannada film under consideration for the Toronto Film Festival. Produced and directed by Edakallu Guddadamele fame, C. Chadrashekar from Ottawa. Members met producer-director-actor Chandrashekar in person and enjoyed the movie and his views and experiences.
