Dear
Canadian Kannadigas,
Our
annual picnic and General Body meeting held on July 11, 2004 was a great success with record number of participants, very competitive
cricket games, sumptuous food and activities for all. We had a wonderful sunny
day to enjoy at the exclusive riverside spot at Erindale Park in Mississauga.
The enthusiastic cricketers showed up early and kept on playing even after the
food was served. The special KS T-shirts were a good attraction and people wore
them proudly. Children, adults and seniors had a good time with watermelons,
barbecued Corn, snacks, majjige neeru and delicious food.
Prizes
for game winners and Youth Scholarships were distributed at the General Body
Meeting. Annual report and Financial Statements were presented which showed a
very successful past year. A new set of office bearers were elected to carry out the work for the upcoming year.
