Members Achievements

Lata Pada, Artistic Director of SAMPRADAYA Dance Creations has been awarded the 2009 Order of Canada. She has the distinction of being the only South Asian artist to receive this award; in a ceremony on April 7th, Lata was conferred this award by the Governor General, Michaëlle Jean at Rideau Hall in Ottawa.
